Minneapolis, MN - The Minnesota Timberwolves extended their winning streak to five games with a dominant 129-106 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night.
Anthony Edwards led the way for the Timberwolves, finishing with a team-high 25 points and 6 assists. Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 points and 9 rebounds, while D'Angelo Russell chipped in 18 points.
The Thunder were led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who finished with 23 points. Josh Giddey added 16 points, while Isaiah Joe scored 15 off the bench.
The Timberwolves jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. They led by 10 points after the first quarter and extended their lead to 20 points by halftime.
The Thunder made a run in the third quarter, but the Timberwolves responded with a 10-0 run to put the game away.
